About Matara Creek

Matara Creek is a family business with two divisions. Matara Creek Homestead is the family's home in Finnish Lapland, where visitors meet their dogs. Matara Creek Services provides earthmoving, machinery operation, training and project support.

Services cover work with bulldozers, graders, excavators and tractors for contracting and civil projects across Northern Finland and Sweden. The homestead is presented as the family's home rather than a tourist attraction, and visitors are invited to experience everyday life there.

The company was founded in 2023 and is based in Meltosjärvi, Finland. Co-founder David has more than 26 years of experience in mining, construction, forestry and heavy equipment work in Finland, Australia and Canada.

Product: Earthmoving and machinery operation services with training and project support, plus homestead visits in Finnish Lapland
