About MASTER STATION
Master Station develops Around, a mobile social network in which users publish text or image posts ("Rounds") tied to a specific latitude and longitude. A proximity feed shows Rounds posted near the user's current location, and users can "Pop" a Round to increase its visibility in the area. The app relies on GPS, and blocking and reporting tools are provided.
Around is used by individual consumers. It is currently in an invite-only beta and is available as native apps for iOS and Android.
The company is registered in Prague, Czech Republic, where it is headquartered, and was founded in 2014.
Product: Around, a hyper-local social network mobile app with location-anchored posts (Rounds), a proximity feed and a Pop visibility mechanism.
