About Marine Specialised Technology
Marine Specialised Technology (MST Group) designs, builds and supports rigid inflatable boats (RIBs), high-speed workboats and inflatable craft up to 24 m in length. Its range includes the PATROL, SEABOAT and SR rigid hulled inflatables, FRISC, interceptors, riverine craft and the ILC inflatable landing craft series. Services include craft maintenance and repair, spare parts and warranty, bespoke training, technical assistance and shipyard facilities.
Customers are military, paramilitary and professional operators in defence, security, law enforcement, search and rescue, coast guard, fisheries and conservation. MST sells craft built to client specifications, together with spares, maintenance and support services. The company states that it has delivered over 550 boats and provides sales and support in more than 30 countries.
The company was founded in 2002 and operates a 35,000 m² waterside shipyard in Bromborough, Merseyside, to which it relocated its original Liverpool headquarters in 2023. It is recruiting for shipyard roles in Bromborough and offers apprenticeships and employment pathways for armed forces veterans.
