Mainter develops Mainter CMMS, a maintenance management system covering work orders, work requests and fault reports, asset management, spare parts inventory and cost analytics. A mobile app and QR codes let staff log issues on the production floor.

Its customers are maintenance and production teams at companies ranging from small workshops to large industrial sites; the website names timber, food and terminal companies as users. Revenue comes from tiered monthly subscriptions listed at EUR 249 (Starter), EUR 599 (Premium) and custom pricing for Enterprise, with a free trial offered.

The company says it originated from its sister company AM System, started development of a new CMMS in 2018, launched its first version in autumn 2021 and rebranded from AM Service to Mainter in 2023. The website reports over 400 customer companies, holds ISO 27001 certification and lists Umeå in its job posting; the careers page mentions frontend, backend, customer success and support roles.
