About Magtrack
Magtrack develops subsea cable tracking systems that detect cable positions, map cables in 3D, measure burial depth and pinpoint faults. Its systems use magnetometer and inclinometer sensors and transfer raw and processed data to a surface vessel.
Products include the Magtrack 400-series, with systems rated for depths of up to 6,000 metres. The company also supplies tone generators for cables that are not energized and works with Megger GmbH on larger tone generators.
Magtrack was established as a separate company after starting as a development project for Aquadyne AS. It is headquartered in Vettre, Norway, and has a team that includes software development and business operations roles.
