About Magmio
Magmio develops an FPGA-based system for ultra-low latency trading. Clients write trading strategies in C++, and a tool running on the client's server compiles them through an HLS compiler onto supported FPGA cards. The website says trigger-based strategies can reach latency below 100 ns and more complex strategies with book building below 350 ns.
The website says the customers are prop trading firms of all sizes in Europe, the United States and India. The offer combines a turnkey FPGA solution, customisation for exchanges and order types, consulting, and functional testing with a software simulator. The website does not describe pricing or the revenue model.
Magmio's website states that its product development began as Tradecope in 2012 and became Magmio in 2021. The company is headquartered in Brno, Czech Republic, and its CEO is Milan Dvořák. Open positions listed on the careers page are Senior C++ Developer, FPGA Developer, and Junior FPGA Developer (student).
Product: FPGA trading system with a C++ strategy compiler (HLS), market data and order-entry offload, and a C++ API for FPGA cards.
