About Magic
Magic is a virtual assistant company that matches clients with a full-time, dedicated remote assistant and gives access to a pool of 24/7 on-demand assistants when the dedicated assistant is offline. Services include calendar and inbox management, meeting scheduling, travel planning, expense reports and other business and personal tasks. Candidates are selected through live interviews and must pass Magic's training before working with a client.
Customers are busy professionals, executives and businesses. Magic also offers Magic Teams of three or more assistants for companies. Clients pay weekly for assistants: the site lists $360 per week for a Virtual Assistant and $540 per week for an Executive Assistant, both at 40 hours a week, with part-time plans and weekly billing through sales also available.
Magic was founded in 2015 at the NASA Ames Research Center by Aaron Kemmer and Mike Chen. The company states that it is 100% remote. The site reports more than 10,000 businesses helped and 2M+ tasks handled this year.
