About M-TEC Energy Systems

M-TEC Energy Systems develops and produces heat pumps, battery storage systems and energy management systems. The heat pump range includes propane (R290) air-to-water and ground-source units from 4 to 30 kW, and the storage range runs from 7.7 kWh to 1.8 MWh. The E-SMART energy management platform and the ENERGY-HERO system are offered as part of a modular whole-building energy system.

Customers are homeowners, commercial and industrial building operators and municipalities. Products are offered through a network of system partners and installers, and the company also sells to the electrical trade. Over 30,000 heat pumps have been installed.

The company traces its origins to 1972, and M-TEC GmbH was founded in 2015 with production started in Pinsdorf, Austria. M-TEC Energy Systems GmbH was established from 2020. Its headquarters are in Pinsdorf, with further sites in Hagenberg, Fürth, Naestved, Barcelona, Groningen, Brunico, Prague and Karlstad.
