About Lti Metaltech

LTi Metaltech manufactures, precision-fabricates and welds high-integrity pressure vessels and containment systems at its Oxfordshire facility. Services include material preparation, forming, design and development, in-house and third-party testing, and supply chain coordination. Production combines robotic and semi-automated systems with a team of coded welders.

Customers are OEMs and project developers in healthcare, energy and nuclear sectors. The company has supplied cryogenic pressure vessels for MRI systems for Siemens Healthineers MR Magnet Technology, and its website names Tokamak Energy, CERN and STFC among energy and science customers. It also reports a contract in excess of £45 million from Sellafield Ltd to manufacture SRP products.

LTi Metaltech was founded in 2004 and is part of the LTi Metalltechnik Group, a European network of engineering companies. In June 2021 it acquired LTi Vessco in Bridgend, Wales, which handles bespoke, low-volume fabrication. The company describes a team of around 100 specialists and has open vacancies including an NPI Quality Lead.
