About Lso Live

LSO Live is the in-house record label of the London Symphony Orchestra. It captures live orchestra concerts and releases them as albums, and also publishes streamed concerts, interviews and masterclasses. The label has over 200 recordings and was named Label of the Year at the International Classical Music Awards in 2026.

Its customers are classical music listeners, concert audiences, and supporters of the orchestra. The website lists concert tickets, memberships, individual and corporate support, legacy giving and hire of the orchestra and venue spaces. The orchestra also runs LSO Discovery, a learning and community programme.

The London Symphony Orchestra dates its history to 1904, and the LSO Live label has operated since 1999. The legal entity LSO Live Ltd was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in London. The orchestra performs at the Barbican, where it has been resident since the venue opened, and at LSO St Luke's on Old Street. It also has residencies in Paris, Tokyo, Luxembourg and Aix-en-Provence. Current vacancies include an IT Systems Co-ordinator, a tutti double bass, principal and sub-principal viola, and a freelance video production talent pool.
