About Lopay

Lopay is a payment app and point-of-sale system for accepting card payments in person and online. Merchants can take payments with Tap to Pay on a smartphone, a Bluetooth card reader or a WiFi touchscreen Business Terminal. The app also includes a free POS, scheduling, loyalty and team management tools, plus the Lopay Expense & Rewards Card.

Its customers are small businesses, sole traders and entrepreneurs in the UK, including taxi drivers, barbers, builders and market traders. Pricing is per transaction, starting at 0.79% on the Essential account, 0.99% on Standard and 1.79% on the Instant to bank tier, with no monthly fee or contract on these accounts. The Business Terminal is offered at £15 per month on a 12-month rental plan. Card processing is provided with Stripe Payments UK Limited, which holds UK FCA authorisation for payments and e-money services.

Lopay Limited is registered in London, where it has its headquarters, and was incorporated in 2021. The platform launched in January 2022.
