Loop Technology

Loop Technology is an industrial automation and robotics specialist founded in 1998. Its core disciplines are machine vision, industrial robotics and motion control. Its product range includes FibreLINE automated composite preforming, FibreTRIM composite trimming, RoboMACH robotic machining, LoopCLEAN laser ablation cells, IdentifEYE 3D labelling and Bravura deployment systems. It is also the UK distributor for CleanLASER systems and Robotmaster offline programming software.

Customers are manufacturers in aerospace, defence, automotive, renewable energy, construction, oil and gas and education. Services cover project management, mechanical and electrical design, software development, build and assembly, installation, training, and maintenance and servicing. Most solutions are customised to customer requirements.

The company is headquartered in Poundbury, Dorchester, Dorset, and has offices in Sheffield and Bristol. It reports a team of 80. It operates under an ISO 9001:2015 certified management system and holds Cyber Essentials Plus certification. It is part of the Loop Group, and received the JEC Composites Innovation award and the FANUC Global Robot Partner of the Year award in 2025.
