Loděnice Chvaletice

Loděnice Chvaletice, a.s. builds and repairs vessels at its shipyard on the right bank of the Elbe, opposite Chvaletice between Pardubice and Kolín. The site has welding (MMA, MIG/MAG, SAW), CNC plasma and acetylene cutting, a press brake, a 600-tonne ship lift, and a main hall measuring 70 x 25 m.

The website describes the yard's services as repair, modernisation and inspection of large vessels, and new hull construction. It states experience building ships under supervision or classification by Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas and CS Lloyd. The website does not name its customers or describe its pricing model.

The yard has operated since the 1980s, originally as a repair yard for a river fleet, and reached its production peak in 2008–2010 building river tanker hulls. In 2021 the company became part of the Czech family group FRANCO. In 2022 the operating company T.I.S.C. merged with a property holding company to form Loděnice Chvaletice, a.s. Its registered seat is in Praha 7 – Troja, and the production site is at Selmice 58.
