About locafox.de

LocaFox develops and operates cloud-based point-of-sale software and self-checkout systems. The product line includes TSE-compliant cash register software, inventory management, an online shop connection with click and collect, DATEV export, digital receipts, and tablet and self-checkout hardware such as a cash recycler.

Customers are small shops, specialist stores, cafés, restaurants, food trucks and multi-branch retailers. The company sells monthly or annual software packages (Small, Medium, Large and an enterprise tier), with additional cash register licences priced per month. It also offers an optional service for reporting cash register data to the tax office.

LocaFox was founded in Berlin in 2013 as a local shopping platform and moved to cash register software as a SaaS product in 2016. It became part of the ANKER group in 2020 and launched its self-checkout system in 2022. The website states that over 2000 merchants use the software.
