About Legibus

Legibus builds an AI legal research assistant. Users pose a legal question and receive a structured answer with explicit references to articles and sections of legislation and codes, which can be copied and cited. The pre-launch version covers legislation and codes only. Later layers are planned to add case law, doctrine and firm content, along with advanced reasoning, templates and enriched exports.

The product is aimed at law firms (cabinets) and in-house legal departments. Typical uses include identifying applicable texts and their conditions, pre-qualifying a question to flag exceptions and points of vigilance, preparing client or internal meetings, and drafting compliance checklists. Pre-launch access is offered at 60 € excluding VAT per month, with onboarding support and a preferential rate for early pilot users.

Legibus is a French company founded in 2024 and headquartered in Lille, France. It is hosted in France and presents itself as GDPR-compliant. The company is part of the French Tech ecosystem and lists EuraTechnologies, CITC IoT Cluster HDF and French Tech Lille among its ecosystem partners.

Product: AI legal research assistant delivering structured answers with traceable references to legislation and codes.
