About Lango Real Estate

Lango Real Estate acquires and manages prime income-producing commercial property in gateway cities across Africa, focusing on retail, office and industrial assets. Listed properties include Manda Hill Centre in Lusaka, Ikeja City Mall and The Wings in Lagos, and Accra Mall and Kumasi City Mall in Ghana. The company reports assets under management of c.US$900m, c.98% USD leases and c.80% global and multinational tenants.

Its customers are investors seeking exposure to African commercial real estate through a private, REIT-like structure. The company aims to declare regular distributions to investors from rental income and plans a listing on the London Stock Exchange over the medium term.

Lango began operations in March 2018 as a joint venture between Ninety One and Growthpoint Properties, with the International Finance Corporation as a partner. The UK entity, LANGO REAL ESTATE LIMITED, was incorporated in London on 26 June 2024. Thomas Reilly is Chief Executive Officer.
