About Landfolk

Landfolk runs an online marketplace for holiday homes. Each property is selected by its Host Experts against four criteria, and guests can request a stay or instant book it. Payment is taken after confirmation, or at booking for instant bookings.

Homeowners list their holiday homes on the platform, and Landfolk creates their profile and handles marketing. Landfolk keeps 5% of host earnings, and hosts decide when, to whom and how often they rent out. Guests are people booking holiday homes for leisure stays.

Landfolk was founded on 1 February 2021 in Aarhus, Denmark, by seven former Airbnb colleagues. Homes are offered in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. The company raised €3.8 million from SEED Capital in March 2023 and a €10.3 million Series A in July 2024. It is hiring a Digital Product Designer.

Product: Holiday home booking platform for curated private homes, with listing management and marketing handled for hosts; includes a visual search tool launched in January 2026.
