About Laitalan Lomat
Laitalan Lomat is a farm guesthouse in Karhunpää village in Valtimo, North Karelia, Finland. It provides accommodation, food services and programme services, and is used as a venue for family celebrations and camps.
Its customers are holidaymakers seeking rest in the countryside, families and groups booking weddings, birthdays, family parties, christenings, memorial gatherings and camps. Revenue comes from accommodation, catering such as buffet tables and wedding menus, and a shop selling local food and crafts that operates by advance order.
The business was registered as Laitalan Lomat Oy in 2025. The website states that Anja and Matti Nevalainen began tourism activities as a sideline to a dairy farm in 1992 on Anja's family farm. The property is about half an hour's drive from the Bomba tourism centre and about an hour from Koli National Park and the Vuokatti tourism centre.
Product: Farm guesthouse accommodation, catering for events and celebrations, programme services, and a local products shop.
