Lagardère

Lagardère is an international group, created in 1992, with operations in more than 45 countries. Its website describes two main divisions: Lagardère Publishing, which includes Hachette Livre and Larousse among its publishing activities, and Lagardère Travel Retail, which operates airport duty free and travel essentials stores. Lagardère Live covers media such as Europe 1 and the Journal du Dimanche.

The group's customers include readers, schools and book trade partners, airport travellers, and media audiences. The website reports 2025 revenue of €9,353 million and about 33,000 employees. Its parent company is Louis Hachette Group, and its anchor shareholder is the Bolloré family.

Open roles listed on the careers pages are mainly in France, with head office functions in Levallois-Perret, publishing roles in Vanves and Malakoff, and airport store positions in Marseille, Nice and Luxembourg. Many listings are internships or apprenticeships. Women make up 63% of the workforce as of 31 December 2025.
