Kongsberg Maritime designs, integrates and supports maritime technology for vessels. Supported vessel segments include cargo, fisheries and aquaculture, naval and coast guard, offshore oil and gas, offshore wind, passenger vessels, research vessels and workboats. Services cover newbuilds, retrofits, refits, conversions, upgrades and lifecycle support, including 24/7 customer support and spare parts.

The company was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Kongsberg, Norway. It has offices in 35 countries and recently opened an office in Manila, Philippines. Kongsberg Maritime was demerged from Kongsberg Gruppen and is listed on Euronext Oslo Børs under the ticker KMAR. Its digital solutions are deployed on over 3,000 vessels.
