About Kommuninvest

Kommuninvest is a funding cooperative of Swedish municipalities and regions that finances their investments in public welfare and a sustainable society. Kommuninvest i Sverige AB publishes quarterly reports on the debt management of the municipal sector and half-year interim reports.

Its customers are its member municipalities and regions, of which 298 are listed as members. The company lends to them: lending volume was SEK 589.8 billion as of 30 June 2026, up 4.5% in the first half of 2026. The site lists more than 820 sustainable loan projects, for example a new F–9 school in Hallunda being built by Botkyrka kommun.

Kommuninvest also publishes the magazine Dialog and a weekly finance blog. Open positions listed include a Tech Lead for infrastructure and operations and a communications internship for spring 2027.
