Knepp is a rewilding project and estate in Sussex, England, covering 3,500 acres. Since rewilding began in 2000, free-roaming cattle, ponies, pigs and deer have shaped the land into scrubland, wild meadows, wetland and wood pasture.
The estate offers guided safaris, camping and glamping stays, the Knepp Wilding Kitchen restaurant, and garden tours and workshops in its rewilded walled garden, which was designed by Tom Stuart-Smith and James Hitchmough. It also runs an online butchery selling slow-grown, pasture-fed meat, hosts events, and sells corporate team away days. Its customers are day visitors, overnight guests, corporate groups and online meat buyers.
The restaurant has been awarded a green Michelin star. The company is hiring for Knepp Wilding Kitchen roles (chef de partie, experienced waiter/waitress, barista and bartender) and a full-time deputy head gardener for the walled garden.
