About Klaveness

Klaveness is a shipping group offering physical and digital services to the maritime industry. Its businesses are Klaveness Combination Carriers ASA, listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, which operates a fleet of 19 combination carriers that switch between dry and wet cargoes; Klaveness Digital AS, which develops digital services and the CargoValue supply chain management solution; and Klaveness Dry Bulk, 75% owned by Torvald Klaveness, which manages the Panamax Pool.

Customers and partners are served through chartering and dry bulk operations, and through real-time insight services for supply chains and commercial operations. Klaveness Dry Bulk is a partnership with Marubeni, which took a 25% stake in 2023.

The group traces its origins to 1946, when Torvald Faye Klaveness established his first company. The Oslo-registered entity KLAVENESS AS was founded in 2011. Head offices are in Oslo, with chartering and dry bulk presence in Singapore, Dubai and Tokyo, and the company reports a team of 150+ across the world. Its current vacancy is a Summer 2027 internship.
