About Klättermusen
Klättermusen is a Swedish maker of mountaineering equipment. Its range includes down and insulated jackets, shell and hood jackets, pants, hoodies, backpacks from 2 to 100 litres, duffel bags and technical accessories, designed for harsh weather and rough terrain.
Customers are outdoor enthusiasts, and the company sells its men's and women's collections through its own online shop. The site lists prices in USD. In 2025 Klättermusen became Head Partner of the Sörmlands 50K race.
The company was founded in 1975 in Umeå by a group of local climbers and grew into a business supplying outdoor equipment in the 1980s. It states that it became the first outdoor brand to reach a 100% fluorocarbon-free collection, in September 2017. It has an office in Åre, where it lists openings for an accounting manager and a material developer and team lead for a Shanghai material team.
