About Kishorn Port
Kishorn Port Limited (KPL) operates Kishorn Port & Dry Dock in the Highlands of Scotland. The site offers a 160m wide dry dock, quayside with up to 20m+ water depth, an on-site quarry with concrete batching, and facilities for the manufacture and assembly of floating offshore wind structures.
Services cover decommissioning, oil and gas, floating offshore wind, drilling rig life extensions and upgrades, and renewables. Further services include cranage and materials handling, shipping agency and cargo handling, supply vessels and barges, and warehousing with five warehouses that can accommodate 8,000 pallets. Recent projects include the Noble Intrepid, which left the port after a 10-month stay, and the arrival of Dana Petroleum's Western Isles FPSO.
The company was established in 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between Ferguson Transport & Shipping and Leiths, which began the redevelopment of Kishorn Yard and Dry Dock. KPL is registered in Corpach, and the port operates from its Kishorn site, which has 45 hectares of land available for construction and development. The company is recruiting for gatehouse and security staff.
Product: Port, dry dock, quayside, cranage, warehousing, shipping agency and concrete batching services for offshore energy projects.
