About Kimet

Kimet is a Finnish metals wholesaler that stocks stainless and acid-resistant steels and aluminium, including sheets, tubes, bars, pipe parts and valves. Materials are traceable, and the company offers sawing and water-jet cutting to customer dimensions at its steel service centre in Nurmijärvi.

Customers are businesses that buy metal materials in Finland. Kimet sells from its warehouse and online store, which requires a customer login, and delivers with its own vehicles in the Helsinki capital region and the Lahti area, and through transport partners elsewhere in Finland. It also publishes weekly nickel price information.

Kimet Oy is registered in Nurmijärvi, where it was founded in 2023. In spring 2026 it commissioned an automated storage system for long products at Ilvesvuori, Nurmijärvi. The company is recruiting a sales product manager.

Product: Wholesale of stainless, acid-resistant steel and aluminium materials with sawing, water-jet cutting and delivery services.
