KATR

KATR s.r.o. runs forestry and wood-processing operations: tree nursery cultivation, harvesting by harvester and classic methods, forest protection and renewal, and a sawmill producing sawn timber with drying of the timber. It also provides transport of round wood, sawn timber and wood biomass.

The company buys standing timber and round wood and sells timber and split firewood, including delivery. Its vehicle workshop services its own trucks and special machinery and also services vehicles for external parties, and it operates a fuel station that is open to the public. The website does not describe its customer segments in more detail.

KATR was founded in 1991 through the purchase at a small-privatisation auction of a sawmill in Stará Ves, and its registered seat is in Stará Ves in the Bruntál district of northern Moravia. The website lists open positions for a timber-haulage trailer driver and a vehicle mechanic, with single-shift operation and 25 days of holiday offered.
