About Katko
Katko designs and manufactures electrical switching and installation products, including enclosed isolators, load break switches, connectors and junction boxes, and switch fuses and fuse boxes. Its switching and installation solutions are made in its own production plants in Finland and Poland.
Its customers are installers, maintainers and operators in buildings, industrial and harsh environments, process industry, power distribution, ventilation and clean air systems, and renewable energy installations. Products are sold in more than 60 countries, and the company works with channel partners and its own sales teams.
The company is family-owned and was registered as Katko Oy in 2015. Its predecessor, Auto-Koneistamo Oy, was founded in 1938. Katko has about 160 employees, two thirds of them in Finland. Its main factory and office are in Helsinki, and it operates a production plant in Nidzica, Poland, which opened in 2006. It also has a sales office in Dubai, opened in 2007.
