About Jotron
Jotron develops, manufactures and markets communication products and systems for land, sea and air applications. The maritime range includes AIS Class A, EPIRB, SART, VHF GMDSS and PLB equipment, and navigation products under the Skipper brand such as echo sounders, speed logs, sonar systems, transducers and sensors. Its aviation range covers VHF and UHF radios for civil and defence air traffic control, voice communication systems and the Ricochet record and replay system.
Customers include ships and vessels, energy installations, air traffic control organisations and coastal and maritime communication operators. Support agreements and training courses are offered alongside the products.
Jotron was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Larvik, Norway. The group includes subsidiaries in Norway, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Singapore, the United States and Lithuania, and the website lists 418 employees. Open positions at the time of review were for a production operator and an underwater acoustic systems engineer, both in Oslo.
