About Johka
Johka sells private, personally hosted experiences in Lapland, including husky safaris, Northern Lights hunting, ice fishing, ice floating, reindeer farm visits, snowshoeing and a private Santa meeting at a reindeer farm. Private transfers are made in Mercedes minivans, and a VIP host service covers arrangements from arrival onward. The company also operates Arctic Villas along northern rivers and near Kilpisjärvi, as well as Villa Pöyliölake and Villa Arcticmint in Rovaniemi, Villa Simojärvi in Ranua and Tyven Resort in Pello.
Customers are international guests, including couples, families and small groups who want small-group, private travel. Revenue comes from selling these experiences, transfers and villa accommodation, with activities led by local guides and partner providers.
Johka Oy was founded in 2022 and is based in Rovaniemi, with a home base in Kilpisjärvi. The company is running an EU co-funded project from 09/2025 to 08/2026 to grow internationally with a network of international travel organisers.
Product: Private guided Lapland activities, private transfers, VIP host service and Arctic Villas accommodation for international guests.
