About Jockey Club Racecourses
The Jockey Club runs four businesses in British horseracing: Jockey Club Racecourses, which operates 15 racecourses; Jockey Club Estates, which manages about 5,000 acres of training grounds, a property portfolio and the Jockey Club Rooms; The National Stud, which stands stallions and runs training courses; and Racing Welfare, a charity supporting the racing workforce.
Customers include racegoers, who buy race-day tickets, hospitality and raceday apps, and businesses and individuals who hire Jockey Club venues for conferences, exhibitions, weddings and other events. Under its Royal Charter, the organisation has no shareholders and does not pay dividends, reinvesting its profits into the sport.
Founded in 1750, the Jockey Club has about 650 permanent staff across its four businesses, with its training grounds and Jockey Club Estates operations based in Newmarket. It is currently recruiting a Property Services Administrator for Jockey Club Estates in Newmarket.
Product: Racecourse fixtures and tickets, raceday hospitality, Jockey Club venue hire, raceday apps, Rewards4Racing, and training and breeding services.
