The bwlv gGmbH (Baden-Württembergischer Landesverband für Prävention und Rehabilitation) is a non-profit operator of addiction support and child and youth welfare services. It runs 23 counselling centres in 21 districts, eight inpatient specialist clinics, four day clinics, aftercare facilities and residential groups for alcohol and drug addicts, and six integration services that help people with disabilities enter the general labour market.
Its youth welfare offer JELLA provides pedagogical and therapeutic support for girls and young women with addiction problems and/or trauma-related disorders, through three inpatient services. Clients include people affected by addiction and their relatives, children, young people and families, and employers seeking workplace health support. Medical rehabilitation is largely commissioned by the German pension insurance (Rentenversicherung).
The organisation is headquartered in Renchen and reports 54 facilities and more than 900 employees. Its sole shareholder is the Stiftung für Prävention und Rehabilitation Baden-Württemberg in Tübingen, and it has operated for over 100 years. Current job openings span social work, psychotherapy, nursing, occupational therapy, medicine, administration and a DHBW dual study programme in social work.
