JBA Risk Management provides flood maps, catastrophe models, flood risk data and analytics. Its products include global flood maps with flood extents and depths across return periods, a Global Event Sets catalogue of over 15 million simulated flood events, online services with APIs and WMTS tile access, climate change flood risk analytics, parametric insurance data, portfolio analysis and consultancy.
Customers include insurers, reinsurers, financial institutions, property companies, governments, lenders, and international development organisations and NGOs. The company sells access to its flood data and models, property-level flood risk assessments, and bespoke consultancy and portfolio services.
The company was established in 2011 and is headquartered in Skipton, England. It is part of the JBA Group, an independent and employee-owned organisation, and has subsidiaries under the JBA Risk Management name in the US and Singapore. It is currently recruiting a Business Development Manager.
