About Jazyková pracovňa
Jazyková pracovňa is a language school that teaches Slovak to foreigners and tutors foreign children in Slovak. Courses run online and in person and include group and individual lessons at levels A1 to B2, as well as preparation for the Slovak A2 exam under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The school also offers a Slovak conversation café and preparation for pre-school children joining Slovak schools.
Customers are foreign adults and children living in Slovakia. Revenue comes from course fees, with group courses priced per course and individual lessons priced per hour. For the A2 exam, the school prepares students and arranges the exam together with an accredited language school, and the resulting certificate is recognised by the foreign police.
The company was founded in 2024 and is headquartered in Bratislava, where in-person lessons take place. Co-founder Mgr. Róbert Horňák, PhD. and lecturer Mgr. Darina Kováčiková are named on the website.
Product: Slovak language courses for foreigners (group, individual, online and offline), exam preparation for the CEFR A2 Slovak exam, and tutoring for foreign children.
