About Jammac Care Group
Jammac Care Group runs residential care homes and offers day care, home care, respite care, elderly care, dementia care and mental health care. Its homes are Rowan House in Saltash (26 beds, elderly dementia), Longview in Goonhavern (51 beds, dementia), St Clair House in Camborne (25 residents), Lilena and The Crescent in Newquay (mental health support), and Highborder Lodge near Stroud (40 beds, elderly and dementia).
Services are aimed at adults who need residential, dementia, mental health or elderly care. The group states that care is person-centred and that staff support with medication, community access and independent living skills.
The company was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Stroud. Mike and Chris Westmore have worked in care since 1988, when The Crescent in Newquay was converted from a hotel into a care home. The group is family run, with the Westmore family including their four children in the business. In June 2025 it acquired Highborder Lodge near Stroud, and it lists Senior Carer vacancies on its website.
