About Jalonne

Jalonne builds Jalonne RoadData, a road infrastructure information system. It collects street and road images through crowdsourced smartphones, uses AI and machine vision to detect defects from images and sensor data, and lets users measure dimensions at selected locations. Collected data can be explored through a web user interface and sent automatically to planners and job control systems via a machine interface.

The product is aimed at road maintainers and is designed to reduce running costs by detecting defects and measuring objects remotely. Personal data such as people and vehicles is automatically detected and anonymised to comply with GDPR.
