About Interbacs

Interbacs supplies Bacs-approved software and a Bacs-approved bureau for Direct Debit collection and Direct Credit payments in the UK. Its products include InterPay for producing and submitting Bacs files, DDMS for managing Direct Debits, InterPass for verifying payers at sign-up, and HSM hardware security modules for attended and unattended submission.

Customers are businesses of all sizes in the UK, including start-ups, SMEs, enterprises and public bodies. They can submit files through the software under their own Service User Number, or have the Interbacs bureau submit payments for them, and can switch between the two as they grow.

Interbacs was founded in 2003 by Bacs software specialists and is based in Manchester. Its software is developed in-house, and the company holds ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications. Its software received Bacs accreditation in 2010 and its bureau service launched in 2013.

Product: Bacs-approved payment software (InterPay, DDMS, InterPass, HSM) and a Bacs-approved bureau for submitting Direct Debits and Direct Credits.
