About INFANTSIM

InfantSim develops a 3D-printed simulator for training in neonatal minimally invasive surgery (MIS). The system combines interchangeable organ modules, neonatal-scale surgical instruments, integrated optics, suturing materials and instructional video and e-learning content. Its synthetic tissues are custom-developed, and the modular design allows future extensions to additional neonatal procedures.

The product is aimed at surgical trainees and instructors in neonatal and infant minimally invasive surgery. A motion-sensor and AI-based analytics layer for tracking instrument movement and technique is planned as a future integration.

InfantSim was founded in 2025 and its legal entity, INFANTSIM j. s. a., has its registered seat in Vojka nad Dunajom, Slovakia. The team combines pediatric surgery, polymer science, 3D printing and simulation expertise, and includes Petra Zahradníková, a pediatric surgeon and lecturer at Comenius University's Faculty of Medicine. The company has officially started the EIC Pre-Accelerator programme.
