About Indeed Flex

Indeed Flex operates a mobile app for temporary and flexible work. Job seekers, called Flexers, browse and book shifts, complete interviews and receive pay weekly or through Same Day Pay. Employers can access a pre-verified workforce on demand and use Flex Plus, a platform for managing their workforce, with features including workforce scheduling, tracking and attendance, ratings and worker pools, and the Alma AI staffing co-pilot.

Customers are employers in hospitality, facilities management, business support, industrial and retail sectors. Workers receive medical, dental, vision and term life coverage through the company's benefits offering.

The business was founded as Syft, launched in 2015, and joined the Indeed group in 2019 as Indeed Flex. The service operates in multiple US cities and the app is available in Spanish.
