About Imotions
iMotions develops software for human behavior research that collects, synchronises, visualises and analyses data from multiple biosensors, including eye tracking, facial expression analysis, EDA/GSR, EEG, ECG, EMG, fNIRS, respiration, voice analysis and motion capture. Its main products are iMotions Lab, a desktop suite for lab and field studies, and iMotions Online, a browser-based tool for data collection from participants' own devices. It also offers integrated Affectiva facial expression SDKs and APIs and research services.
Customers are academic and commercial researchers in areas such as market research, neuromarketing, UX, automotive, health, education and media. Academic customers license the software per module, and commercial customers buy module subscriptions; pricing excludes hardware, and the company also sells eye trackers and biosensors through partners. Its platform is stated to be used by 9 of the 10 top-ranked universities.
