About Iktos
Iktos develops AI software and laboratory robotics for drug discovery. Its Makya platform generates novel, synthetically accessible molecules for de novo drug design, Spaya plans retrosynthetic routes from target compounds to commercially available starting materials, and Iktos Robotics automates chemical synthesis, purification, analysis and biological testing.
Customers are pharmaceutical, biotech and academic institutions, served through collaborations and through Makya, which is offered as a SaaS platform. Since its founding in 2016 the company reports more than 60 collaborations. It also runs an in-house drug discovery pipeline covering targets such as MTHFD2, the amylin receptor and SKP2-CKS1.
Iktos was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Paris. It raised a Series A of €15.5M in 2023 and acquired Synsight in 2024. In 2025 it received a €2.5M EIC Accelerator grant, with an option to an additional €5M investment. Its scientific advisory board includes an MIT professor.
