iconos8.es

Icons8 sells a library of icon packs, illustrations, 3D assets and photos, along with AI tools such as a background remover, image upscaler and image and face generators. Its assets are offered in packs of matching styles, and it provides desktop apps (Lunacy and Pichon), design-tool plugins and an MCP server for connecting AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.

Customers are designers, developers and product teams. Revenue comes from monthly or annual subscriptions (annual billing is discounted by 20%), with a free tier, per-item fees for downloads beyond plan limits, and AI credits consumed per generation. Teams can add members to a subscription, and an API is offered for developers.

The company was founded in 2012 by Ivan Braun and states that it has no venture capital investors. Its about page says it has over 4 million users, that almost half of its team are engineers, and that its in-house designers produce thousands of designs each week.
