About Hutag
HuTag makes passive GEN-2 UHF RFID tags designed to be worn on people, read at up to 8 metres directly off the skin. The XC tag range is used mainly for athlete timing at events such as triathlon, obstacle and mud runs, MTB and open water swimming, and is also used in hospitals and heavy industry. The company also sells readers, writers, antennas, labels and straps.
Customers are sports timing hardware manufacturers, event organisers and operators of security, building control and crowd management systems. Revenue comes from selling tags and accessories online, with products listed in US dollars, British pounds and euros and shipped worldwide; US customers can order through partner Atlas RFID Store.
HuTag Ltd is registered in the United Kingdom and based in Milton Keynes. The company launched its HuTag tag in October 2013, has sold tags into more than 55 countries, and renamed itself from Righteous Solutions Ltd in 2024.
