About HumGel
HumGel makes MyoGel, a liquid extracellular matrix derived from human tumors, used as a growth substrate for cancer cell research. It is supplied in 1, 5 and 10 ml vials, as pre-coated 12-, 96- and 384-well plates, and in custom configurations for matrix density and format. The matrix is room-temperature stable and contains no animal-derived materials.
The product is used for scratch wound assays, spheroid invasion assays, high-throughput drug testing and 3D microfluidic chips. Its customers are researchers, clinicians and pharmaceutical companies. Products are sold against orders and quotes, with custom configurations quoted on request.
HumGel Oy was founded on 13 January 2026 and is based in Oulu, Finland. The company's product page cites published studies from 2015 to 2025 that use the matrix.
