About HUGO
HUGO.legal is an Estonian online legal advice platform. Clients describe their legal problem, attach documents, and are matched with a lawyer whose experience fits the case. Consultations take place in a client portal or by phone, in Estonian, Russian or English. Topics listed include maintenance, employment disputes, inheritance, property and rental agreements.
Individual consultations start from 39 € for 30 minutes, with an hourly rate from 79 €; larger cases receive a quoted price that the client can accept or decline. HUGO+ is a 12-month annual membership at 119 € per year that covers the client's family, with the first 30 minutes of each new legal topic included. The membership renews automatically, and a satisfaction guarantee allows clients to switch lawyers free of charge.
The company was founded in 2015 and is based in Tallinn. The website reports more than 100,000 legal cases resolved and more than 215,000 hours of legal advice provided. HUGO was a partner in Estonia's state-funded free legal aid service, which ended on 1 January 2026.
