About HEMAK
HEMAK designs, manufactures and services industrial weighing equipment, including road, rail, belt and onboard weighing systems. Its SCALIS system connects scales, cameras, barriers, readers and software for automated vehicle weighing. The company also builds industrial terminals, self-service kiosks and custom metal structures.
Customers include operators in industry, logistics, mining, construction, agriculture and waste management, as well as public-sector bodies and commercial estates. Each project is designed for the customer's site and covers design, manufacturing, installation, software, training and long-term service.
HEMAK was founded in 1991 and is based in Košice. The company states that it has more than 30 years of experience and more than 1000 delivered solutions. It extended its activities to the Czech Republic and Hungary in 2023 through the hemak.cz and hemak.hu websites. Its product portfolio also includes CAMEKO camera systems, the FIRELO fire-suppression system and the Muntia digital platform for municipalities, launched in 2025.
