HeatVentors

HeatVentors develops intelligent thermal batteries, modular units built on phase change materials that store thermal energy for hours or days and release it on demand. Each system includes a self-learning controller, a proprietary heat exchanger, and on-board and central data recording with web and API access for tracking energy savings, costs and CO2 emissions. The batteries can connect to legacy HVAC systems, air-to-water heat pumps, solar thermal and photovoltaic installations.

Customers are business sites such as office buildings, shopping malls, hotels, data centers, universities, district heating and cooling operators, utilities and industrial thermal processes. Standard sizes range from a 10 kWh HeatTank to a GigaBattery of 1,100–1,300 kWh, and the company's team configures and supervises installation of the system that fits each application.

HeatVentors is headquartered in Budapest, Hungary, and was founded in 2017. Its products are manufactured in Hungary, and its research and development involves university labs, supplier partners and energy utilities. The company states that its phase change material research took 10 years and that it has investors from the energy and business sectors.
