About Healshape
Healshape is a French regenerative medicine company developing bioprostheses for soft tissue reconstruction. Its patented platform combines biochemistry, tissue engineering and 3D bioprinting to create natural, personalised, resorbable implants that promote the body's own tissue regeneration without synthetic or permanent materials.
Its first product, UR SHAPE, is a natural breast bioprosthesis for women who have undergone mastectomy after breast cancer. The company's stated target customers are patients and surgeons, and it says it aims to make its products accessible to both.
Healshape was founded in January 2020 in Lyon, France, by six co-founders. Its scientific and medical committee includes breast reconstruction surgeons from France and the United States. The company has announced a 6M€ fundraise.
Product: UR SHAPE, a natural, resorbable breast bioprosthesis for reconstruction after mastectomy, made with a patented 3D bioprinting platform.
