About Happysitters
Happysitters places home nannies (nounous) who collect children from school or nursery and look after them at home, including homework, meals, play and activities. The nannies are recruited, employed and insured by Happysitters, which also handles the administrative side of the arrangement for families.
Customers are families with children who book a nanny through the company's online request form. Families pay for the care, and the website shows how the CAF childcare benefit (CMG) and a 50% tax credit reduce the remaining monthly cost. Nannies are recruited from students, professional nannies, part-time employees and retirees.
Happysitters is headquartered in Paris and was founded in 2021. The website reports around 4,000 families and 1,288 reviews with a 4.9/5 rating. The careers page recruits nannies available on weekday afternoons during the school year.
Product: Placement of salaried home nannies for after-school and nursery pick-up and childcare, with administrative handling by the company.
