About HAKO

HAKO a.s. develops software and hardware for energy management and remote meter reading. Its products include the IMS NOETiC i4.0 intelligent metering system with SCADA and OEE modules, the EMGMT energy management module, and a module for measuring traction electricity in railway transport. Hardware components of the system are offered alongside the software.

Services include software and hardware maintenance under SLA terms, cloud-based remote system access, remote monitoring and customer support, legislative reporting for renewable energy source operators, custom software development, and construction and service of photovoltaic plants. Named clients on the company's site include Orange, Telefónica O2, Slovak Telekom, Huawei and Jadrová elektráreň Mochovce, mostly from its earlier telecommunications network construction work.

HAKO was founded in 1998 and became a joint-stock company in 2008. It has been registered as a research and development organisation since 2015. The company is based in Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia.
